Pink Pearl are often associated with love, compassion, and emotional healing. It is believed to promote harmony and balance in relationships, as well as nurturing qualities. In Greek mythology, pearls were associated with the goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty.
Legend has it that pearls were created when Aphrodite emerged from the sea and tears of joy fell into the water, forming pearls. Therefore, pink pearls, with their connection to love and beauty, are the perfect token to represent love and protection. For this design, we use the pink pearl to represent the love and nurturing essence of motherhood, and embodies the depth of a mother’s affection and her unwavering commitment to her loved ones.
We dedicate all of our pearls and shells to the Greek goddess of love - Aphrodite, as she was born from the sea and was associated with the sea and sea creatures. The name, Aphrodite, derives from the ancient Greek word “aphros” (seafoam) interpreting the name as “risen from the foam”.
