Our collection of Howlite stones are dedicated to Callisto, a forest nymph from Greek mythology. Callisto means "most beautiful", and was a huntress where she and a group of nymphs (her sisters) accompany Artemis (the goddess of hunting and moon) in the forest. Callisto's story inspired the constellation of Ursa Major and her son Arcas, the Ursa Minor.
